In 2006 the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the Oficina de Etica Gubernamental de Puerto Rico (OEGPR) partnered to produce the fourth publication of Ethos Gubernamental, or Ethos IV, which contains a collection of articles written by leaders, researchers, and senior government officials from around the world.  The articles address problems related to public health and ethics that demonstrate the need to reassess assumptions and fixed ideas that drive the decision making process used by governments, international organizations, the private sector, and society constituents in general. The articles have been translated into the four official languages of the Organization and will be distributed world-wide.
