Trinidad and Tobago, 30th October, 2012. Three participants from Guyana completed training at the National Centre for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) in San Fernando Trinidad. The intense two week training course involved making wooden and aluminum crutches, walkers and canes as well as advanced repair of wheelchairs. The participants were Mr Garvin Jeffers from Region II as well as Mr Junior Whyte from Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre and Mr Michael Trotman from the Open Doors Centre.
