PAHO/WHO to launch Health in the Americas report at Pan American Sanitary Conference

The 2012 edition of Health in the Americas, which provides an update on the health situation in the 48 countries and territories of the Western Hemisphere, will be presented next week during the 28th Pan American Sanitary Conference of the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), in Washington, D.C. The report analyzes health progress made by the countries of the Americas as well as the major health challenges they face, and presents an integrated approach to address pressing health issues.
