The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), in partnership with the Inter-American Center for Social Security Studies (CIESS) and the Latin American Academy of Medicine for Older Adults (ALMA), is now enrolling students for the English Specialization in Health Management for Older Adults that will begin this May, 2013. The Specialization is an online course aimed at current professionals interested in managing health programs and services for older adults. The introductory module will be taught in-person, while the remaining six modules will be conducted virtually through the MOODLE platform of PAHO’s Virtual Campus in Public Health.
