July 26-27
Convention Center at Crowne Hotel Plaza, Santiago de Chile, Chile
Ministers of Health and Agriculture, along with scientists and officials from the public and private sector, academia, and non-governmental and international organizations. The meeting is organized by the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO), and is supported and sponsored by the Government of Chile, through the Ministries of Health and Agriculture.

They will also share lessons learned in the management of risks related to human health, food production and ecosystems.
Three technical events will serve as preparation for the ministerial summit:
the 12th Meeting of the Hemispheric Committee for the Eradication of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (COHEFA12, on July 24),
the Sixth Meeting of the Pan-American Commission on Food Safety (COPAIA 6, on July 24), and the Inter-Agency Forum: “Toward integrated epidemiologic surveillance”, on July 25.
All events will take place in Santiago, Chile.
