Information from the registry helps to monitoring changes in school health programs and policies linked to various initiatives such as Health Promoting Schools, Health and Family Life Education (HFLE), Friendly and health Schools, and others. during the 2009 edition of the Health Promoting Schools Registry, information from 14 countries was reported. In 2011, information and standardized indicators are available from Argentina, Belize, Chile, costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala. Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Uruguay, Panama, Peru and Suriname.
