Fortaleza is the capital of the Brazilian state, Ceará and has about 2,500,000 people. The Faces, Voices and Places initiative in Fortaleza was developed in the fifth region which has 18 neighborhoods with 560,505 people. This area,has a large network of canals, streams, lakes and dams. The initiative involves a project of productive inclusions, a project for the prevention of infant and fetal mortality and a recycling effort among others. |
