In the Canton of Corredores an initiative has been developed to strengthen the capacity of women for decision making and enhaced economic standing.

This has been done through a sustainable food production projects within the framework of nutrition and food security and healthy settings.

These give an important focus on priorities such as safe drinking water and solid waste collection and management.
