Pan American Forum for Action on NCDs
The Pan American Forum on Non-Communicable Diseases brings together government, private sector, academia, and civil society to raise awareness on NCDs.
CARMEN is an initiative of the Pan American Health Organization and aims to improve the health status of the populations in the Americas by reducing risk factors associated with noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).

To encourage initiatives in the Americas and globally, July 28th brings awareness to the general population and health care providers about preventable and treatable viral hepatitis. The disease causes millions of deaths from liver cirrhosis annually.
