National Consultations

The National Consultations are being organized through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The National Consultation process is meant to stimulate dialogue about the Post-2015 Development Agenda, taking countries’ individual opinions, challenges, and experiences into account. The exchange of ideas will provide an invaluable, multinational, intercultural perspective, that will prove fruitful in the creation of a Development Agenda that will move us toward the “Future We Want.” The National Consultations will take place approximately between April 2012 – March 2013. They will complement sub-national, thematic, and other consultations being organized by other civil society stakeholders. There will be 50-100 national consultations, with 11 in Latin American countries.

The deadline for reporting on first round of country consultations is: 31 March 2013. However, feedback is encouraged as consultations evolve, so as to feed into the different stages of the High Level Panel’s deliberations.
