The Escuela de Ciencias de la Comunicación Colectiva and the Programa Interdisciplinario de Estudios y Acción de los Derechos de la Niñez y de la Adolescencia (PRIDENA) of the University of Costa Rica made the "I Congress of Central America and the Caribbean on media for young people: Media and Information Literacy ". This conference seeks to promote dialogue and reflection on the theme of Media and Information Literacy in the region.
