Chile is the first country in the region of the Americas to establish a formal agreement for technical cooperation with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) to establish a National eHealth Plan, in the context of the regional strategy adopted in 2011 by Member States in the 51st Session of PAHO's Directing Council. Representatives of the Ministry of Health of Chile and PAHO explored last week the scope of this technical collaboration for an eHealth plan.
