In accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Pan American Health Organization, I have the honor to present the 2007–2008 annual report on the work of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau, Regional Office of the World Health Organization. The report highlights the Bureau’s major work in providing technical cooperation during this period within the framework of the 2003–2007 and 2008–2012 Strategic Plans of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau, defined by the Governing Bodies of the Pan American Health Organization.
