Mobilizing for Dietary Salt Reduction Policies and Strategies in the Americas

The purpose of this expert and country consultation held in January 2009 was to document the policies and initiatives in the Americas Region aimed at reducing dietary salt to prevent and control chronic noncommunicable diseases (CNCDs), feature relevant country and regional experiences, and reach a consensus on initiatives that can advance dietary salt reduction in the Americas and identify next steps for each.
