PAHO Director addresses challenges in water and sanitation in the region during XXXIII Congress of AIDIS

Although countries in the Americas have made progress in access to safe water and sanitation, this still remains a challenge for the region, said the Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Dr. Mirta Roses in the XXXIII Congress of the Inter American Association of Sanitary Engineering (AIDIS) which began on June 3rd in Salvador, Bahia.
