Dominican Republic Launched its Vaccination Week

Vaccination Week was launched from the Dominican Republic on April 19, with the participation of the Minister of Health, Dr. Bautista Rojas Gómez, and Dr. Lilian Reneau-Vernon, Country Representative and other authorities. Dominican Repúblic is using the Vaccination Week to vaccinate children under three years of age with oral polio vaccine as well as vaccinating individuals who work in the tourism industry and migrants with the  measles-rubella vaccine.
