PAHO and the Ministry of Health of Colombia Launch Vaccination Week in the Americas at Regional Summit

Vaccination Week in the Americas is a joint effort between all the countries of the hemisphere and benefit all the region’s residents, said Dr. Mirta Roses Periago, Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), in an April 13 press conference in Cartagena. Along with Colombia’s Secretary of Health and Social Protection, Dr. Beatriz Londoño, Dr. Roses launched Vaccination Week in the Americas, within the framework of the Sixth Summit of the Americas.
