In response to the NCD Regional strategy and the UN HLM mandate, the PAFNCD will bring together government, the scientific and academic community, the private sector, the international organizations and civil society to raise awareness of and help promote new innovative initiatives and scale-up successful practices for the prevention and control of NCDs/chronic diseases and promotion of health at all levels.

:: Goals

Support Member States in achieving UNHLM mandates, and implementing the NCD strategy, through:

• Advocacy: Raising NCDs to the highest level of political attention; regionally and nationally
  
  
• Building capacity for mobilizing resources and partners for the development of priority strategic alliances to prevent and control NCDs
