The AFP consists of 13 sections, including Haiti and Quebec. They aim to promote the influence of the French language and illustrate French culture in Francophone countries in the Americas. They also work to strengthen dialogue with the community through advocacy activities. Once a year they publish the magazine, Bulletin America. Since 1981 the AFP has held regional missions in several francophone areas, such as Louisiana, Haiti and St. Lucia.

The Assembly consists of representatives of Member States of the Community elected or appointed by their Parliaments. There are many objectives of the ACCP, including improving standards of living and work, as well as providing a forum for people of the Community to make their views known through their representatives.

The NHCSL was founded in 1989 as a non partisan, non profit organization, representing over 300 elected Hispanic State legislators through out the United States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Since its founding, the NHCSL's primary mission has been to organize Hispanic state legislators who advocate on behalf of Hispanic communities across the United States. In November of 2001, the NHCSL held its First Annual Legislative Summit in Puerto Rico. Over 75 legislators participated, along with representation from the corporate, government and non-profit sectors and we created a framework for a National Hispanic Agenda.

The Amazon Parliament was created in 1989 by the Chamber of Deputies of Peru, consisting of representatives of the parliaments of the countries of the Amazon. They work in close contact with the Amazon Cooperation Treaty as a permanent legislative body of political exchange in the Amazon Basin.

The Andean Parliament was created on October 25th, 1979 in La Paz. It is the governing body of the Andean community and represents 120 million people. They are responsible for ensuring that the process of integration into the community represents the interests of Andean citizens. The Andean Parliament’s duty is not to legislate but to give advice on issues that affect members of the community.

The Central American Parliament is the regional and permanent office of political and democratic representation of the System of Central American Integration with the main purpose of understanding Central American integration. It consists of 20 elected representatives from each member state. There are many tasks of the Central American Parliament, one of which is to promote the cooperation of the many institutions dealing with the process of integration. They work to promote peace, democracy and human rights.

The American Indian Parliament was founded on August 29th, 1987 in Panama City. They discuss the problems affecting the indigenous peoples of America and propose appropriate measures to overcome them. The American Indian Parliament represents the indigenous peoples of North, Central and South America, and is made up of legislators and indigenous legislators who work on these issues.

The Mercosur Parliament was created on December 6th, 2006 as a substitute for the Joint Parliamentary Commission and they represent the interests of citizens of Latin America.
