Epidemiological AlertsIn the Americas, outbreaks of the Oropuche fever virus have been described in rural and urban communities of Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Trinidad and Tobago.Outbreaks that were registered in the last ten years as due to the Oropuche virus have occurred mainly in the Amazon region.
