Sub regional Workshop about the incorporation of the ethnic perspective in health

The "Sub-Regional Workshop about the incorporation of the ethnic perspective in health" was organized  to support the training process of the PAHO officers and their counterparts in the management of analytical and conceptual tools on gender and ethnicity.

The workshop took place in Guatemala from 16-18 September, 2009. Technical officers of PAHO, conterparts of the Ministry of Health and institutions related to ethnic affairs, and leaders of the civil society and representatives of indigenous, Afro-descendants and Romani groups.
