Ministers Set Priorities for Health in the Americas
The 49th meeting of the Directing Council of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) closed Friday, October 2, after a week of discussions on the most important issues affecting Health in the hemisphere. Ministers of health and high-level delegates from all countries of the Americas passed resolutions on subjects such as Mental Health, Primary Health Care, Nutrition and Development, Safe Hospitals and many others.
