The Communicable Disease Project (HSD/CD), part of the Technical Area of Health Surveillance and Disease Prevention and Control (HSD), is the group inside PAHO assigned to the area of infectious disease; surveillance, prevention, and control. The focus and activities of the project—mission, aims, strategies, and lines of action—are summarized in this fact sheet.
