In the majority of cases, although countries and territories may have pre-hospital emergency medical ambulance service, such services are not supported by legislative enactments. Th e supportive role that emergency ambulance service can provide in the disaster preparedness and response context of the English-speaking Caribbean is noted. Part 3 of the Paper gives general conclusions on findings. |
