Region 5 gets new rehab center
Georgetown, GINA, June 22, 2010
A new rehabilitation center is to be commissioned in Wednesday at the Mahaicony Diagnostic Center. The clinic there is expected to cater to the thousands of residents in Region 5 and its environs.

Ministry of Health observes Rehab Week
Georgetown, GINA, June 21, 2010. Under the theme “Improving Lives through Diverse Rehab Services”, the Health Ministry’s Rehabilitation division and private practitioners, today launched Rehab Week 2010 at the Rehabilitation and Audiology Departments at the Bartica Hospital, Region 7.
These activities are intended to create awareness about the available rehabilitation services and where they are located
Rehab week is an annual event and is aimed at promoting the value and importance of rehabilitation, highlighting the various aspects of the services provided and giving recognition to professionals who provide these services
