Cascos: hay que echarle cabeza

Datos oficiales del Departamento de Transportes de EE.UU. correspondientes al 2005 señalan que de todos los conductores y pasajeros de motocicletas que resultaron mortalmente lesionados ese año, aproximadamente el 65% no llevaban casco y sus muertes se produjeron en jurisdicciones sin leyes universales de obligatoriedad de uso. La cifra contrasta con la de motoristas fallecidos (14%) en zonas del país donde sí es obligatorio el uso del casco.

PAHO reiterates that eliminating congenital syphilis from the Americas "is an attainable objective"

 The persistence of cases of congenital syphilis in Latin America and the Caribbean affects infant mortality rates, maternal health and the transmission of HIV, according to experts of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
