Health Technology Assessment can contribute to universal access through improvements in the quality of care, assessments of true therapeutic innovation, and increasing spending efficiency, said PAHO Director Dr. Mirta Roses Periago, when she presented today the Resolution on Health Technology Assessment and Incorporation into Health Systems at the Center for Global Development.
