Epidemiological AlertsThe Pan American Health Organization / World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) would like to stress to its Member States the recommendations to maintain and strengthen routine surveillance activities, and to promote and disseminate influenza case management and prevention information to the public. The Organization encourages Member States to update and implement plans to respond to public health emergencies.

Experts in leptospirosis meet in Brasilia

Experts in leptospirosis meet in Brasilia About 20 international experts from 13 countries as well as 40 national experts from more than 15 states participated in the Global Leptospirosis Environmental Action Network (GLEAN) meeting, which was held at the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) Country Office in Brasilia, Brazil from March 12th to 14th, 2013.
