The Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná in Brazil (PUCPR) collaborated with the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) to design an online system which will facilitate ethical review processes undertaken by committees whose objective is to analyze research involving humans. When completed, the system will be offered free of charge to the ethics review committees in the region.
