A photography exhibit that shows how health research has helped shape the future and improved lives in Latin America and around the world opened this week in Barcelona, Spain, in conjunction with a meeting of PAHO/WHO’s 44th Advisory Committee On Health Research (ACHR).

“Research for health is an excellent investment,” said PAHO Director Dr. Mirta Roses, in opening the exhibit. “Today we turn to art to illustrate the benefits and extraordinary developments that have been possible thanks to health research.”
