Essential Public Health Functions: Regional measurement results

The results obtained from the EPHF measurements in the 41 countries of the Americas were analyzed and grouped according to the averages obtained for each of the eleven EPHF. These general results and conclusions are founded on an objective and comprehensive self-evaluation, but cannot be interpreted as a completed analysis or discussion.

Rather, the results open the door to further debate among the different actors that participated in the measurement exercise as well as for the elaboration of plans to strengthen public health in each country.
