PAHO's Chronic Disease Project has kept up with the various guides disseminated since then, especially the 2007 Guidelines for the Management of Arterial Hypertension from the The Task Force for the Management of Arterial Hypertension of the European Society of Hypertension and of the European Society of Cardiology, which appear in the Journal of Hypertension 2007, 25:1105–1187). PAHO also wishes to highlight the upcoming revised version of the guidelines published on this page, to be launched soon as JNC 8.
