The workshop took place from November 30 to December 4, 2009 in Lima, Peru. It aimed to support training processes of PAHO/WHO officers, and their conterparts in the use of conceptual and analytical tools of ethnicity and health. The participants of the workshop were technical officers of PAHO from selected countries, conterparts of the Ministry of Health and institutions related to ethnic issues, leaders from the civil society, representatives from indigenous, afro and Rrom populations.
