Regional Plan for Tuberculosis Control, 2006–2015

Sample ImageIn response to the epidemiological challenge that tuberculosis (TB) represents, PAHO has declared TB a health priority for the Americas and hence developed this plan.

Objectives are to extend and/or implement the DOTS Strategy, position TB control as a health priority of the Member Governments, and raise the awareness of partners and international donor agencies about the need to support the countries of the Region. This page contains a summary and a link to the 80-page plan in PDF. Chapter 2 provides an up-to-date analysis of the epidemiological situation.
