Inter-American Water Day, celebrated for the past 18 years, is an initiative of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the Interamerican Sanitary and Environmental Engineering Association (AIDIS, by its acronym is Spanish), and the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA).
