Study finds one-third of births in Paraguay are unplanned


Despite improvements in women’s level of schooling, increasing access to paid employment, growing use of contraceptive methods, and reductions in fertility, in 2008, 33% of all births in Paraguay were unplanned, according to a study published in the latest issue of the Pan American Journal of Public Health.
