OAS Permanent Council bids farewell to Dr. Roses, praising her 10 years as PAHO Director

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) bid farewell to Dr. Mirta Roses, who will leave her post as Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) on Jan. 31 after 10 years at the helm of the organization. In her presentation, Dr. Roses highlighted PAHO’s and the region’s public health achievements and acknowledged the "very fruitful work and constant collaboration with the OAS" during her time in office.
