The Ministers of Health of Central America and the Dominican Republic met December 3 and 4 in the city of Managua, to participate in the XXXVII Regular Meeting of Council Ministers of Central America and the Dominican Republic (COMISCA), during which they discussed the midterm evaluation of the health Plan for Central America and the Dominican Republic and other topics of interest to the region in the area of health. Dr. Sonia Castro, Minister of Health of Nicaragua, who is President Pro Tempore of COMISCA, said it is an space for integration for the region through which limitations and problems are shared, while efforts are joined to obtain better results in the area of health.
