International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) Applied to Disability Prevalence Studies in the Americas

This report describes the systematization of the different data and disability studies conducted in the Americas. It presents a general analysis of the statistical panoramic built, addresses the basic conceptual and methodological elements to consider for the measurement and analysis of the situation of people with disabilities on the basis of ICF, and identifies some of the main implications and challenges for the dissemination and application of the model of functioning and disability in future studies.
