Taxes, prices and the fight against the illegal trade: measures to reduce demand for tobacco products

A group of experts discussed the results of the implementation of tax measures, rising prices and how to combat illicit trade of tobacco which takes place in several countries of the region, including Panama, as a means to discourage the consumption of these products, in compliance with the mandates of the Framework Convention for the Control of Tobacco (FCTC) of WHO.
