Dr. Joseph A. Bellanti, Professor of Pediatrics and Microbiology-Immunology and Director of the International Immunology Center at Georgetown University Medical Center, visited PAHO headquarters on Jan. 25 to present the fourth edition of his internationally recognized medical text Immunology IV: Clinical Applications in Health and Disease.

PAHO Assistant Director Dr. Socorro Gross met with Dr. Bellanti, along with other key PAHO staff. Bellanti’s new book presents the most recent findings, knowledge and research in basic and clinical immunology and is aimed at an international audience.
