During May 3-5, 2010, GDR organized the Basic Indicators Workshop for the Andean Region. This workshop aimed to advance on the process of integrating gender and health indicators as social indicators for the Andean Region.

Work groups have been established to discuss the indicators. These groups are representatives from Ministries of Health, Women’s Machineries, National Statistics Offices, Offices of Planning, UN Agencies, among others.
