Mainstreaming Gender and Ethnicity in SDE Workshop

GEH has organized the workshop "Mainstreaming in Gender and Ethnicity" in the Sustainable Development and Environmental Health Area (SDE) with the objective of building capacities in gender and ethnicity (GE).

Staff from SDE is attending this two-day workshop, which aims to integrate gender and ethnicity on the SDE's Biennial Work Plan. The Workshop includes the presentation of checklists as a tool to integrate GE in the 2010-2011 Work Plan.

The Workshop is being held in PAHO Headquarters during July 01-02, 2009.
