The PAHO Strategic Fund has been developed by the Secretariat of the Pan American Health Organization at the request of PAHO Member States, and for the benefit of Member States. The PAHO Strategic Fund is a mechanism created to promote access to quality essential public health supplies in the Americas. 

The Strategic Fund has been structured through a series of internal (within PAHO) and external partnerships to maximize support to participating countries. 

The Strategic Fund is a procurement mechanism. It's about procurement and supply mangement of quality essential public health products.
