Four countries, Peru 106 [93.0-121], Guyana 111 [91-133], Bolivia 135 [111-162], Suriname 145 [118-173] and Haiti 230 [189-276] are in the worse situation with estimated incidence of TB in the interval of 100 - 299 cases per 100 000 population. This indicator is consistently decreasing in Peru and Bolivia but in Guyana, Suriname and Haiti is slightly incresing over time.
In the Region of the Americas, three countries -- Bolivia 209 [91-349], Suriname 238 [110-396] and Haiti 314 [145-512]-- are in the worse situation with values of this indicator higher that 200 per 100 000 population. For countries --Ecuador 103 [48-147], Guatemala 111 [52-179], Guyana 115 [43-195] and Peru 118 [27-210]-- have also high TB prevalence, in the range of 100 to 199 most of them with high level of uncertainty in the estimation.
