CDC: Cholera Outbreak Strain Identified Print E-mail

Three new radio spots on the cholera outbreak Print E-mail

Experts from the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry of Culture and Communication in Haiti have released three new spots to be used in radio stations and mobile units throughout the areas most affected by the cholera outbreak.

PAHO Position on Cholera Vaccination in Haiti Print E-mail

Currently, PAHO does not recommend use of cholera vaccination in Haiti as an emergency response, but recognizes that as conditions change, the use of this vaccine may be advisable in the future. This document provides the basis for this position.
