International editorial conference and scientific papers writing workshop May 2-5, 2012 9:00 am-6: 00 pm Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez (UACJ) Juarez, Chihuahua The main objective is to learn the basics of good editorial practices and characteristics to be met by scientific journals to achieve a better position in their sector of interest. In addition, to discover opportunities for improvement of structural and functional groups and offer publishers the basic preparation needed to do a good job, both for publishers and for reviewers. To acquire the knowledge needed to develop a scientific paper based on standards and international guidelines established. It is expected that this cycle contributes to the general theoretical training of professionals, help them understand the importance of scientific publication and facilitates the process of writing a scientific publication as part of their work as health professionals. Improving the skills needed to plan, organize, and write a scientific paper of sufficient quality for publication in an indexed journal. The conference and workshop are aimed to publishers, reviewers, and members of the editorial boards of scientific journals of the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez (UACJ, by its acronyms in Spanish) or associated with this, it is requested that participants already have a full draft of a scientific article or systematic review, which includes the results of a research paper.
