ABOUT THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP PURPOSE: To share experiences from the ecoclubs in the United States-Mexico border, to develop a diagnosis from the environmental necessities in the participants’ community, and to get the participants to propose original interventions. METHODOLOGY AND EXPECTED RESULTS: To promote activities that can help obtain a better quality of life, to contribute to the society wellbeing, environment preservation, and a local sustainable development, as well as to form Grupos de Adolescentes Promotores de Salud (GAPS), groups of young leaders that identify, intervene, and resolve issues through their active participation.
