Advisory Committee on Health Research (ACHR)

The Research Coordination Program serves as the technical secretariat of the Advisory Committee on Health Research (ACHR). Established in 1962, the ACHR contributes to the formulation of policies and technical cooperation strategies of the Organization on research. The Committee reviews research activities that are undertaken and/or have the support of the Organization; monitors their development and evaluates the results. The Committee meets annually and is composed of fifteen members who are selected among renowned scientists in the Region.
