Facilitate technical cooperation in the border communities to strengthen health promotion capacities and the establishment of decentralized and interdisciplinary alliances across sectors and agencies to promote healthy public policies that improve the social determinants of health and reduce the primary risk factors. A clear example is the Vaccination Week in the Americas, which successfully takes place each year along the border in conjunction with the National Infant Immunization Week in the United States in coordination with the National Health Week in Mexico.
